Restaurant bewertenI had a wonderful and relaxing day at Winthrop Gardens with friends for Afternoon Tea. The event was hosted by the delightful Anna, who was very entertaining and funny. The tea was fantastic, with a variety of sandwiches, mini quiches, warm scones with jam and clotted cream, tiny cakes, and plenty of tea all served in elegant china cups. It's definitely worth a visit, especially if you enjoy dressing up in fancy hats. There was even a quiz with a horse racing theme, making it a really enjoyable afternoon.
Had a great night at one of the regular themed nights. Good value good well cooked and a really friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit.
We visited Winthrop Gardens and cafe today and found this very small place to be an hidden gem. Well kept gardens by an army of volunteers with a cafe with tea and cakes This was also run by volunteers and the proceeds going to a worthwhile charity
Today, we visited an Open Day with our three dogs, where they were fundraising for St. Alban's school. It was a delightful day filled with delicious homemade cakes made by the children. The atmosphere was enjoyable, with locals mingling and enjoying the sunny weather. Additionally, there was the opportunity to adopt gnomes, which added to the fun of the day.
I received this as a birthday gift delivered yesterday, and it was beautifully presented with generous portions. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
