Restaurant bewertenIt was a fantastic place to work, and the food was even better than most restaurants that charge similar prices.
If you're looking for better food, I'd recommend heading to Burger King or Wendy's. For a truly satisfying meal, make your way to Ray's BBQ in Grayling; their brisket is some of the best I've ever had! If you decide to eat at Forest Dunes, I would suggest just ordering hard bread—it's likely to be better than anything else, and they shouldn’t be able to mess that up. Jim E. Fort Myers, FL.
We used to visit this restaurant frequently before Covid and always left feeling satisfied with the service, food quality, and reasonable prices. However, after the pandemic, our experience significantly declined, particularly regarding the food. The menu had shrunk considerably, prices had increased, and the quality of preparation had diminished. When neighbors suggested giving it another chance, we agreed, but unfortunately, it was the same disappointing experience. The restaurant's upscale atmosphere does not match the current offerings. If you're looking for value, there are numerous restaurants in the area that provide better food at half the price. This place is definitely not what it used to be before Covid.
Went here for my husband's birthday dinner. Delicious and gorgeous view. Sat outside. Husband had the blackened walleye,I had the shrimp and scallops pasta. Ingredients so fresh. The tuxedo cake dessert was sinfully delicious!
We are weekender’s.... and come up pretty much every weekend and we’re always looking for different places to eat. Not many really nice restaurants in the area so upon a friend’s recommendation we decided to give the place a try with my sister and her husband. The clubhouse and the grounds look impressive as you’re driving up. We were seated promptly in the dining area with a wonderful view of the course. Interior is nice but, not fancy. Wait staff was very friendly and efficient. After reviewing the menu, we were ready the place our order. Food arrived in a timely manor. I had the Ribeye and my wife had the Fish and Chips. The other members of our party had Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken and the Walleye. Everything was average at best. Ribeye was just plain tasteless, the Alfredo sauce was terrible and the chicken was over cooked. The Fish and Chips were OK, but didn’t stand out. According to my brother in law the Walleye was good but not great. Bottom line food was OK but it certainly didn’t stand out especially for want they charged. Ribeye was $32 and the Fish and Chips were $16...and to be honest you can get the same meal for half that price but with much better taste at a few other bar/restaurants in the area. In all fairness, I wasn’t expecting the Capital Grille and I have no issues paying for a good meal but this really fell short.
