Second Cup - Roodepoort

Love the Second cup, the food is great the staff are very professional.. it is like a small garden of Eden such a beautiful place

We were welcomed at the door. Inside a cosy little fire was burning. Really good friendly service. Food is presented beautifully with a fresh flower on every dish. Generous portions and overall very tasty. Love the decor. Surrounded by trees, the atmosphere is very peaceful. We have been here a couple of times over the years and you know what to expect. Food is beautifully presented with effort having been put into its appearance and it tastes good too. Staff are friendly. This place is a little gem making you feel as though you’re escaping the city. Absolutely recommend it.

I had a Stacked Pancake, glass of Kombucha and a cappuccino this morning. As the weather was unfriendly we opted to sit inside which was great. Lovely ambiance and fast service. Just two comments about the food the cheese sauce on the Pancake Stack tasted very floury. I have had it on a few previous visits without the flour taste. My cappuccino tasted rather bitter as if the coffee had been standing for hours. Great pity as I have never had complaints at Second Cup before.

This was really a surprise, I enjoyed this place. Like a little getaway to a quite forest, the food was well priced and good quality. The waiter also made me giggle with dry jokes, there are also chickens! Chickens I tell you, clucking about, made eating the chicken mayo very awkward.
