Restaurant bewertenIt's a nice restaurant run by 2 very nice gentlemen: Savino and his wife Donata. The dishes are typical of Apulian cuisine: orecchiette with tomato, cauliflower or turnip greens, risotto or spaghetti with mussels and of course the aubergines parmigiana cannot be missing. If you want a carbonara they'll make that too. The delicious Trani focaccia (the one with cherry tomatoes and oregano) is never missing from the table, to be savored before starting the actual lunch. They also have a vast assortment of cakes prepared directly by Mrs. Donata which it is really difficult to say no to. If you want to taste them all you will have to go several times, they are fresh cakes that the lady prepares from time to time, varying from week to week. I'm lucky enough to go there quite often and have therefore tried them all.

We discovered this place through friends, we went for lunch on Saturday. They offer very good dishes, it is advisable to order in advance to enjoy fresh and tasty products. The focaccia with cherry tomatoes and cheese is delicious, as are the parmigiana and stuffed peppers. The family that runs the kitchen is formidable, they are two elderly gentlemen still full of a great desire to live. They also offer you tastings of their products, you will also have to ask them to tell you about the owner's passion for building miniature wooden ships.
