Amazing aperitivo expirience! Strongly improve when your legs are hurt after a long day in the Vatican city

This place is definitely not the greatest for pizza (NOTE: We didn’t try the pasta or any other main entree). The prices are high compared to most of Rome and the quality isn’t so great. The only plus side is that the pizza is big and heavy, so I guess you get you money’s worth in terms of quantity. Having said that, the quality was bad. We ordered the vegetarian, Margherita and the ham pizza. All fell flat. If you want pizza, there is a spot called Pizzeria Vecchio Borgo, 1-2 min walk away from this place.

Nice fresh food. Very delicious. Our waiter was great (and spoke great English). I just held it with one of the 4 types of "ham and cheese toasties". But this is a few steps above what we get in Britain. Firstly, the Focaccia bread is so much lighter and Craspier and the meat and cheese taste great, but the addition of rocket (rugola I think in Italian) has really lifted it for me. The best half liked their salad and grilled vegetable dishes. I had a taste and agreed. But the Cannoli Croccanti was her favorite thing, she had all the time we were in Rome. She even wanted to go back after a long day around the Vatican, St. Peters, the Colosseum and the nearby forum. So that and get happy!

Roberto was our server and he was not only friendly and served us efficiently, but he seemed to build a big report with all customers and had a great time to joking with us! He went out to call a bus company to get details. We had stopped for a light snack and coffee and it was delicious. But the service is definitely top notch!
