Restaurant bewertenWe really enjoyed this place! We stayed 2 nights in our RV as part of the Harvest Host program. We enjoyed Sam's food twice. Both times were delicious! My husband is Veteran. They took his photo and contained it on the Veterans Hall of Fame Wall. Make this place special.
Unique and family-friendly place. Large burgers, salads and a meat and 3 choices. Just a fun and quirky experience and delicious food. The owner is a big guy who loves his customers. The team of waiters... and those who cook the food (you can observe how they work) were like lively bees and they seemed very concentrated on turning out some good food gate their guests.
I heard from a friend that was the best burger ever. So of course I left. Beef is fresh every day, must I continue? The burger meat was amazing. The fresh salad, tomatoes, onion, pickles made this a great burger. The Philly Cheese Steak, I have to say that he had 20 years since I had one, but tried this and OMG! The steak, mushrooms, cheeze, paprika and rolls SPOT ON. The atmosphere is really cool next to the planes. If you get the chance to meet the owner, please get out and say hello. He's an amazing person he can talk to. Place is clean, bathroom, dining area, etc. Ton's seat and parking. If you are in Rome, GA or nearby, GO, will not be disappointed.
Great people! We were here by harvesters and had the opportunity to meet both with Sam and eat at the restaurant. To say that these people are kind is an understatement. Sam is a real guy and we were glad to hear his story. Thank you for welcoming some Canadians for the night. I hope to come back someday!
Wonderful purple heart restaurant. I loved the tribute to our country and our service members. I had to try the Sam burger. I enjoyed it. Unfortunately it was the last thing I ate before getting puking sick when I got home later. Not sure what happened, but two days later feeling a little better. Waitresses were very nice. Would have been a 5 star experience for me had I not gotten so sick. Keep up the sweet hospitality.
