Restaurant bewertenI'm addicted to birthday cake ice cream. I think about it, even if it's cold outside. I dream about it, Nightday. I keep talking about it. I'll find it when I leave the house. It is a necessity. P.S. All the other flavors I tried are wonderful. It's just that this... takes the cake. BA-DUM-TSS!
This place has a small town feel and the ice cream here is great.
SprinklesoneFantastic! The price is definitely worth it for what you get! $5 for a double scoop waffle cone. We had one dipped in fudge and one dipped in fudge and sprinkles. A great selection of ice cream and a friendly staff. The only problems we ran into is that they wouldn't let my daughter get a three scoop ice cream and there was too much to eat (which isn't really a problem).
Good ice cream. The scooper was very friendly.. Please add a tip section to the receipt, as I had no cash and couldn 't tip the scooper.
If you're seeking a quintessential hometown ice cream experience, South Central Creamery is the place to visit. Many kids I know refer to it as "Penguin Square" because of the penguins painted on the windows, which feature the company's mascots. They offer a wide variety of flavors at reasonable prices, along with double scoops, toppings, shakes, cones, and more. While it may not be the most gourmet option around, it certainly doesn't need to be. This spot is perfect for wrapping up hot summer days and a fantastic choice for ice cream treats. Personally, I love their chocolate ice cream (I can't remember the specific name, sorry!), which is made with four different types of chocolate—it’s absolutely delicious! The last time I visited, I noticed they charged 50 cents for extra sprinkles, which seemed a bit steep to me, but I’m not in the ice cream business, so I'm not sure how that compares. I really appreciate that they support local artists by having them create murals on the windows! I included some photos from South Central Creamery's Facebook page. My friend did the painting, so forgive me for feeling a little proud of that!
