Restaurant bewertenTex Mex in Toowoomba.. It 's sad that other reviews had such bad experiences. But you can 't please everyone I guess. <br/ <br/ We rocked up on a weeknight after traveling for a while and from the get go the staff were lovely to us and sat us down. <br/ <br/ My wife unfortunately has allergies to onions and all that is related (except garlic). We notified the staff of this and the manager came over to assist her to suggest what she could eat with no problems and they would even change a dish for her if need be, he also suggested if we know we 'll be back to call ahead and they will make sure they would have even more variety. <br/ That is a above and beyond what we could ever expect. <br/ <br/ If you are ever expecting 'authentic ' Mexican in Australia you will always be disappointed and should find a lovely Mexican family to cook for you. <br/ <br/ The flavours of our food was nice and fresh. Meat was nice and tender, sauce on the ribs was nice and Smokey. My enchilada had the mild spice which was certainly mild and will be asking for hotter next time. <br/ <br/ The price is a little higher than we have paid in other places, but you pay the same for pub meals, so I wouldn 't say it was reasonable for the size of the meal. I don 't necessarily agree with charging extra for hotter sauces with the Mexican. <br/ <br/ If and or when we go through Toowoomba we would be happy to eat there again.
Love this place! The food is always hearty and filling- not to mention delicious. A big fan of the barra salad, the fish is beautiful and well seasoned. Also love the tacos and the chilli con carne. The place has a great vibe aswell- warm, relaxed and inviting
Fantastic place. Great atmosphere and food is delicious! Large portions and kids meals are huge! Love the platters to share. Makes for cheaper night and the desert platter is incredible. Although they need to change their chocolate nachos to something like cactus jacks.
Service is fantastic food was delicious. Barry thanks again for helping us out with our special order. It was nice to be able to help our good friends from so far away. They said all the food was delicious! <br/ <br/ Go AMIGOS!<br/ The Canadian
Great Food. Yummy affordable food. We had the beef CHIMICHANGA $21.45 which was delicious, the entree size baby slow cooked ribs which were so tender, and the TEXAS GRAZER $24.95 which was a huge amount of delicious meat to eat (5 buffalo wings, 1 rack of baby ribs, and 2 mini chimmi’s, plus rice and salad).Main waiter may have been the owner. Friendly, and clearly passionately about his business. He told us the ribs were cut just like they do in Texas which is why you get more meat for your buck, and that all the food (except the tortillas, corn chips) are made on premises, and that includes their chorizo and sauces. Salad was really yummy too.All in all a really filling, and tasty nights dinner
