Thirty-six Saloon - Rockville

Ordered pork chop, smelled like dead fish/ rancid meat. ate a little bit and found some pink in some spots. 10 minutes later was puking everywhere in a ally. the server smelled it but said it didn’t smell like anything (everyone at the table said it did smell bad)

Stopped in 36 saloon around noon with my family, sisters, brother and brother-in-laws, six in our group. We all ordered a beer, four different labels. One person in our group ordered an appetizer. Our server brings out the beers and sets them in front of each person, I was the last person to receive my beer. As the server handed me my beer, she started to criticize and heckle me over the brand I had selected. In front of my family, this idiot is enjoying heckling me. In my sixty eight years of life and twenty five years in the food service business, I have never seen this approach to customer service. A practice of insulting customers is not a practice for success. If the product is so bad, why is it on your menu? A good server will often guide or recommend the best items on a menu. Not this genius, she prefers to heckle and belittle customers in front of others for her own entertainment. Guess that is why the place was almost empty at lunchtime. Then she brings the ONE food item that was ordered, but Oops! It was not what was ordered. The correct item finally came, and it was not fresh, not good. This place is a joke! Lucky for them, they are the only game in town.

Thirty Six Saloon is a destination. The Saloon features a unique roadhouse atmosphere ranging from a family room to an indoor/outdoor area known as the Hog Pit. Multiple bars serve the different areas. Inside the Saloon offers a full menu ranging from sandwiches to steak. The Hog Pit features awesome bbq pit items cooked in an open kitchen/smoke shack. One advantage to eating outside is that you get to smell the smoke from the pit while you eat. Live music plays on the stage in the Pit. The food is very good. It is clearly prepared fresh and properly cooked to order. The beer is ice cold and the mixed drinks are excellent. Service is always top notch. Thirty Six Saloon is just one of those places that is a must go to. We drive over 70 miles each way to enjoy it, it's that good.

First time here. We were camping at Raccoon Lake and saw that they were having a band. Looked up the menu and it was a no brainer for us to try this place out. The food, service, atmosphere, and decor was everything. The food prices were VERY reasonable. We even bought shirts. We live 2.5 hours away and cannot wait to come back sometime. Highly recommend!

Get the hog wings!!! Wow!! Service could 100% better, the girl we had tonight Literally kept saying “sorry I’m new” and you could tell! But we were patient, got our bellies full and still left a great tip!
