The food and presentation was not impressive. Less than average place. Over 27$ for a steak burrito and steak burrito dinner. Not worth it. Mexico Classico is worth it.

Legitimate authentic Mexican cuisine. I liked the pastor and the chorizo, a Dine-in service is a little strange. order them on the counter for delivery to the table. to leave, they must get their check from a server. clean restaurant in a somewhat sketchy quarter.

This restaurant is excellent and authentic. You can't go wrong with the steak burrito or the chicken burrito. I’ve been eating here for nearly 20 years, and while the décor has changed, the burritos are fantastic. Be sure to also try the fish taco. Although the area may seem sketchy, it's actually quite safe. Across the street is an old grand hotel that has now been converted into low-income housing. This place is located right at the edge of downtown Rockford, so it’s definitely worth checking out.

I've been going to this restaurant for 11 years. I love her eating, never had a complain. tacos de lengua are amazing, chicken tamals are always good and filled with huh. guacamole loves it. Hit sauce is always sharp, horchata can never go wrong. I love eating and the atmosphere in the restaurant. I always recommend this place to everyone. best Mexican restaurant in the city.
