Restaurant bewertenI can't believe how big the napkins are in Rome. I met my lady for drinking and dinner. Also at 18:30 and the place was busy. Large screens everywhere and my favorite, QUICK DRAW. I had tried deep fried scallops last week, so we ordered this. Then my partner chose Lasagna/Sausage and I went with Guinness beef over egg noodles. OMG! My Platter shows up and I am gobsmacked by the hill of Pasta covered with a thick, beautiful brown engraving full of thick cut vegetables and bargains of delicate delicious beef. I swear it had to be 3 pounds. My companion had 1 lb. Chunk from Lasagne I could inhale the aroma over the table. A rich red sauce covered a mountain of carving sausage with enough ricotta also for me. And a decent French bread. Rain pours out and this great, simple, homemade farewell filled our stomachs with warmth. Nothing nice and it would have served 4 truck drivers. What we left with us will feed us both two days. Two doubles and tips were not injured at 55.00. We're back for more. Parking: 35 and more back.
We are not sports, so we didn't think twice when we were in a night when there was football, let alone a Bills game. it was extremely loud and hard to hear and we sat on the only open table, right under a bubble loudspeaker. there was a siren who went off every time the bills were made. our server, rachel, was great! the apps we ordered were pretty tasty! it seems that there may be many regulars here and the table that is closest to us was very funny and now I think we are bills fans? I would go back!
Taverne neighborhood! Big food, wings are pterodactyl size, meat hot sauce is delicious with a killer bite! Absolutely the best bang for your Buck in Rochester. Beverage specialities, wing specialties, menu offers excellent variety. Nice to watch your sport, etc. Been busy forever and ever = my business. 10!Food: 5/5
Based on eating, traveling, atmosphere and service, I guess romig is a solid 4. but if in the setting and treatment of customers of one of the peculiarities, my assessment of this local bar and grill drops to <1. after reading some of the other reviews, it is obvious that I do not feel the only person that feels like that. my prayer was on a Thursday evening when I ordered 2 cheeseburger “to go”. on Thursday are burger $5 or $6 depending on toppings. a great price for a great burger. this price special is advertised on all in-house menus and is available for “probably” at least one year. When I paid the bill, it was over $17. the waitress told me that the owners decided not to honor the special price at the dinner hours. I was not told about the price change before ordering, there was no posted sign of this change, and menus still reflected the special. I spoke to one of the owners and he told me that he can do anything. never relies on why he can charge higher prices than advertised prices. he only showed me how the job hangs in the cooking area. I asked him to explain what the order had to do with the pricing. to my unbelievable he told me that all these people have ordered dinners and that he cannot be harassed with $5 hamburgers. when he left, he told one of the waiters to reimburse me the price difference she did. Of course, I appreciated the refund, but there is no reason that every entrepreneur is rude and bound to a customer.
Got 30 wings and they were delicious. They were very very busy and it only took him a half an hour to fill my order. Was very impressed with the cooks at how they kept things clean and kept changing their gloves so they would not have cross-contamination.Food: 5/5
