Restaurant bewertenBeautiful little treasure hidden in the city of Penfield. Many Eastern European delicacies and snacks. Will definitely return to try more.
Simply put, authentic Eastern European cuisine! Family and home-style food. What a jewel! I wish there were more places like these in the area.
First visit today for breakfast. The atmosphere is clean and modern, but cozy. There is an espresso machine and the coffee was Italian, beautiful and strong. They also had a good tea selection. It was not very busy and the cook came out to talk to us and said he would do everything we wanted and we were not limited to the menu. So I ordered crepes with eggs, sour cream and caviar. My friend got eggs in a pepper sauce with grilled pita. The food was excellent and the staff was very nice. You have a wonderful shop next to the café and also with Eastern European imports. Will definitely return and can highly recommend this place if you are looking for something fun and other :
Fresh homemade bonbons are to die! besides the traditional cheese they also have cauliflower, mushroom and meat types. their homemade soups and pierogis are fantastic! they have real roggenbrot that they can not get in other food stores in the opposite, their sortiment to plastered vegetables and jarred sauces are great, and they have desserts all possible Eastern European. that's a tasty bite in rustester!
All I did was pop in and buy some pierogis, but it's nice to get a reminder of how out-of-touch we can get by shopping in homogenized supermarkets. This place has aisles of awesome central European food. Next time, I'm going on there with a meal plan and a shopping list.
