Restaurant bewertenWe started with calamari, but it was disappointing; it was overly salted and overcooked, and I've never encountered such uncrispy calamari rings before. After that, we decided to cut our losses and ordered a dessert along with another bourbon, which was, thankfully, good.
I remember cutting a slice of pizza and passing it to my mother, a fellow food enthusiast, urging her to try it. There's a delicate balance to achieving the perfect pizza crust—one that is both resistant and chewy, avoiding the overly hard crust that some pizzerias favor. Personally, I strive for this balance, and I wanted her to see why I was so captivated by this pizza, as it epitomizes what a great crust should be—with more meaning less. The crust itself was sturdy enough that it held its shape when lifted, yet soft enough to be enjoyable to eat. That was the standout feature for me, but the toppings sealed the deal. Some pizzerias tend to overload their pizzas, resulting in a messy explosion of sauce and cheese. Fortunately, this was not the case here. The pizzeria uses just the right amount of toppings, allowing each flavor to shine through without any spillover.
It was a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food, atmosphere, and staff were all fantastic, and I highly recommend it!
The sitting area loved in the free. tomatenbisque was delicious. service could have been a tad better, but great for a quick bite or watching a football game. the food came very fast.
We hopped in here for lunch and drinks on a whim. It took a while for the hostess to stop walking back and forth in front of us and ignoring us, but we were eventually seated. Our service was friendly if listless. The food was good but not great. The outdoor seating is pleasant, but be prepared for a lot of noise and cigarette smoke. Given the chance to visit this area again, we’ll go elsewhere.
