Acropolis Greek Taverna Riverview

We ordered on Saturday night and are very disappointed. we made a pickup and at the arrival in the restaurant we were told that we wait from the bar for our order. After waiting for a few minutes and not greeted by the bartender or one of the three to four employees who came by, I went to the pile to order to go through the DoorDash sign. this stack was on the back of the bar and on the side (instruction, I didn't go over originally b/c I thought the bartender was the administration of the orders and I placed the order through the website and not doordash I went through several submissions to finally discover, mine and in my opinion, this is only careless. when we came home to enjoy our dinner, the lamb olipops were boiled (at $29 for lamb olipops this is disappointing) and the Calamari order was small and hardly calamari actually had in the order. there was a real Calamari ring in the diving sauce I thought was funny. all in all typical acropolis I have found with customer service and eating very well. this place seems to be missing the mark that is regrettable.

Walking up, you feel like you are transported to a street in Greece, complete with a working fountain, pretty patio filled with inviting seating. We opted for indoor seating, equally inviting in an upscale, modern dining area complete with bar. Our group enjoyed a mid-week late lunch. Our server promptly greeted us with pita points and dipping sauce/cheese. We then enjoyed flaming saganaki. The mousaka was delicious, a large portion that came with a fresh salad. The trio of mini gyros also came with a salad. The large gyros platters came w/choice of sides. Seasoned fries were enjoyed. The chicken gyro wraps were good-sized. The meats were well-seasoned and full of flavor. Give this place a try, you'll be glad you did!

Went for b'day lunch for my cousin. As always, the food and service were excellent. Have been many times and was happy every time. Haven't been there for dinner in a while, but the dancing entertainment is fun to watch.

First and foremost the staff was great even being “understaffed” and the waitress’s handling multiple inside and outside tables. The menu choices were so Many temptations it was hard to decide so I guess we will be making return trips. The appetizer came out quickly and was done really well. The house salad with my meal was great and my seafood wrap good but could have used some type of sauce to keep it from being to dry. The gyro and fries were spot on even with some feta cheese sprinkled on the fries. It’s a place you need to try and won’t be disappointed.

Fabulous! I'm so sad we haven't tried this sooner in the two years we've lived here. First off Rachel who took our to go order was sensational. Talk about someone who cares about her job and customer; it's her! Chicken Rhodes Hello beautiful. I'm glad to have met you tonight! You made me love you! The garlic parmesan sauce was one of the most flavorful sauces I've ever had on chicken. The vegetables complimented it extremely well. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. This is one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. Chicken Skewers This dish kept this from a five star review. The chicken was a little tough and the flavors were a little strong. The salad and fries were fantastic though! Avgolemono Soup Delicious. This would rank in my top five favorite soups I've ever had and I love, love trying new soup. The flavors worked in harmony and I felt the warmness all the way down! So good. Tzatziki Very good sauce. It was subtle and I like mine a little more bold. It was very creamy and paired well with whatever we dipped it on. This gets the stamp of approval for one of my favorite restaurants in town now! This is one that I foresee us trying many times and other menu items too. A huge bonus is that my picky four year old who doesn't like anything enjoyed it. Our 9-month-old also liked the soup and pita!! Our six year old loves everything and he could not get enough of everyone's plate! Kid approved!
