Restaurant bewertenI really loved this place! We stumbled upon it while taking a scenic route and found a true gem, even better than the Riverton gemstone beach. We arrived just minutes before closing, but the staff happily served us. I had the best scone I've ever tasted, and my husband enjoyed a delicious rhubarb muffin. I can't recommend their baked goods enough! The coffee was fantastic too. After we finished our meal, we chatted with the owner, who shared some wonderful tips on baking with rhubarb. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. The baked goods and coffee are definitely worth it!
The food was great, the service was quick and accurate, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, I’m very satisfied. The decor could use a little updating, but everything else was excellent.
I ordered the French baguette with two eggs and bacon, a cheese scone, and banana bread. All the baked goods were toasted with butter, which made them even more delicious. The egg sandwich was fantastic, with the eggs and bacon cooked to perfection. It's definitely worth a stop for a warm and tasty breakfast!
Nice 80s decor cafe with some random furniture. Great coffee and food (tried the pressed sandwich and the burger). Very quick service. Didn’t try the cakes but they looked great and homemade.
I had the most amazing food there after 5 months cruising around Aotearoa. You can taste the love and effort put into the baking and cooking ; Lovely people on top of that.
