Chatsang Cafe - Rishikesh

The food was delicious and the restaurant had a traditional Indian decor. However, the portions were on the small side and the prices were a bit high compared to other similar restaurants.

I just tried the vegan ice cream in this caffe, but I found it very delicious and they could say it was made with fresh fruits. the caffe is nice, although not really recommended for large groups during the warm year, as they have only a small terrace with very few sitting. in the menu there were many vegan options, including pizza.

We had high expectations for a nice dinner at this restaurant based on the good reviews, but we were disappointed. The vegetables were not fresh, and the dishes had fewer toppings than indicated on the menu. We had to pay extra for tofu, and the dishes were not very tasty. Additionally, our food was not served together, with some dishes coming out at different times. The only highlight was the delicious hummus.

I always find quiet places with good food, this place fits the bill. it is quiet, pleasant and has both vegetarian (including eggs and cheese) and organic vegan menu. They are very friendly and adaptable so that they adapt their menu to their preferences. the quality of food is good, especially for india standards. please go and check it, it seems mostly empty, perhaps because the people tend to go over the street for the gangees view, but these places are busy in the rule, and like buddha caffe, people smoke everywhere in restaurant, quite careless for non-smoking.

While staying in Rishikesh, I frequented Nirvana for its incredibly relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers a mix of tables and bed seating, perfect for unwinding. They serve fresh juices and a variety of healthy vegan and vegetarian options. I highly recommend trying the Nirvana Special Plate, which includes tofu, pan-fried veggies, rice, and salad. The Full Power Ashwagandha juice was my favorite, incredibly refreshing. They are willing to accommodate vegan preferences for any dish, just ask. The staff is friendly and they even host movie nights at 7:30pm.
