Chiosco La Scogliera - RIPOSTO

We wanted to sit down for a drink in this perfectly positioned terrace of the bar with splendid views on the port of Torre Archirafi. The bar was completely empty but we were refused as dogs are not allowed to be on the terrace. Strange policy, completely in contrast with the experience elsewhere (Sicilians adore dogs). Big turn off.

We stopped here by chance for aperitivo and were pleasantly surprised by great organic wine and a big selection of beers. Food also great, with hot croissants all night long and for breakfast. Staff incredibly kind, perfect location just on a deck overhanging the sea.

Busy little wooden seaside shack built out over the sea. Stopped here for a couple of espresso whilst walking along the seafront of Torre Archirafi.
