Restaurant bewertenNice restaurant, food and prices. Great place want to come back. Also you can try a juice from a local fruit called corozo.
I just finished my meal at La casa del marisco and all I can say that it was meh... I had multiple types of seafood, but all of them kind a tasted the same. Also the food was quite dry. I also didn't get what I ordered, when I told that to the waiter he said I ordered what he gave me. I'm pretty sure I know the difference between patacones and papas fritas. On the upside the meal was more than enough for one person, and the taste of everything that I ate was okay.Based on the reviews I must have had some bad luck today.
You have to try calamar full of shrimps!!! It's small but the service is wonderful and the food is really good.
There were no English speakers but we went with the lobster 3 ways which was excellent. The shrimp dish we ordered was just ok. The restaurant was packed with locals and Spanish speaking tourists. I'd go back to check out some other items.
This restaurant is conveniently located across from the beach. I was the only diner there on the weekday evening that I went. It seems to be family run and service is warm and friendly. The menu is standard fare for Riohacha. Food was okay, not great--portions were a bit excessive. There aren't many restaurant options in Riohacha so this is probably one of the better choices given the possibilities. One complaint though . . . the chairs are probably the most uncomfortable I have ever encountered in a restaurant. The slatted seat begs for a cushion!
