I enjoy coming to this pub on my own after work. Like to have a cheeky pint, and head home. On this occasion, however, a friend came with me and we had Sunday roast and pudding. It was reasonably prised and absolutely delicious! Always felt safe coming to this pub. Lovely, friendly, welcoming staff. Come on your own or with friends (you won’t be disappointed).

This restaurant is the worst place to have a Sunday roast. The chicken and vegetables were clearly microwaved and reheated multiple times, resulting in a terrible taste. The cutlery was dirty, the toilets smelled like urine, and the prices were way too high. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

Had lunch here today. Long wait for food to arrive with no apology. 2 of us ordered feta, spinach and tomato side salads. I've had more garnish on a mains plate than the tiny portions in these bowls. Hardly any feta in them so I asked for more and we got about 2 small cubes worth to go with the one we got originally broken up into tiny bits. Suggest portion size is reviewed or price halved!

This was a group lunch for 16 people never easy to get just right but everything was greet/ Good beer (and wine! served with excellent food but the most impressive of all a really friendly welcome. Everyone of the party enjoyed it and we shall be returning for something similar after the summer. (whether or not we have such a thing!

The only thing that wasn't too bad on my Sunday lunch was the Yorkshire Pudding. Roast Chicken that was way over cooked, carrot, (just one), was hot but solid. Mixed diced veg could be bought at any supermarket, and as for the roast potato's!!!!!
