Friendly and warm atmosphere...especially on weekend with live entertainment. Love their goulash soup and veal cutlet!

It's a charming restaurant with its decor and music. the food is average and completely overpriced. Won't go back.

When you see a terrible review of a restaurant on trip advisor assume "where there is smoke, there is fire". We met some friends last night in this restaurant around the corner from us. I had beef (or so they tell me) stroganoff, my husband had veal cordon bleu. Firstly, they haven't changed their website so the prices were higher than on their dinner menu on the web. Their prices are outrageous for Richmond Hill especially when they have no set parking except on Yonge St. after 6:30 pm. I'm not sure that the beef they gave me is real beef. Little pieces of something covered in sauce. My husband said his veal was so hard he could hardly cut it or chew it. Our friends shared with us the goulash soup that was so bad that you couldn't call it soup. It was salty sauce (like they had taken a sauce from some other dish, thrown in pieces of something and called it soup). The service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was practically empty. Also, on the weekends they have " live music". It is a small intimate (yet tacky) place so it was hard to talk to our friends over this piano (and accordion) player. I guess you are paying for this noise as well.We are seniors and very rarely go to restaurants now because of exactly this. Now my husband says "no more restaurants" because I can cook healthy nutritious meals at home, not the garbage we were handed last night. Restaurant Rhapsody offers a very good variety of Hungarian dishes, it is not the first time we had dinner there. We highly recommend this place for any special occasion, reservation is a must. Please be aware of the schnitzel portion you will be served, the meal comes with home fries,red cabbage,or vegetables. The schnitzels are very tasty, we ended up taking half of the schnitzel home. We love the food, everything is homemade and fresh. On weekends there is live music which makes this place even more special. We definitely will come again.
