Restaurant bewertenVery slow. they get a small piece of meat every 20 minutes. the salatable is not good, not as we expected. disappointed, not what I was told about texas de brasilien.
We had a party of 8 and they told us we had to have reservations and no walk ins. They lost a 300.00 sale. Nobody in the restraunt either.
The waitress was nice . Everything else was not good. Very bad experience.
Some of the meat was cooked beautifully, some dried and tasteless. Long waits between meats swords, at one stage over 10 minutes! The wine selection, although large on paper, did not have our first three choices, the one we finally chose was a $12 malbec sold for $55. On the day, overpriced and not the quality it should have been. Unlikely to return.
You guys. We have really been sleeping on this gem. I was taken here for a birthday dinner and it really turned out to be one of the best meals and experiences I have had in St Louis so far. First of all, the location was at the Galleria in Brentwood, but it's located on the outer edge of the mall towards the parking garage so you don't actually have to go into the mall to visit, which is a bonus. We easily found close parking in the lot next to the entrance, even on a Saturday night at 7 pm. There was no wait and while moderately busy, it wasn't crowded and we were immediately seated in the beautiful main dining area. The ordering here is the easiest ever: an all you can eat price (around 45 covers all the portions of high end steak cuts, chicken, and pork you care to try plus salad bar and garlic mashed potatoes. You go the salad bar immediately, then a colored card you are given to put by your plate indicates that you want more meat servings (green) or that you are full for now (red). The absolutely smashing salad bar had super fresh romaine salad, lots of unique toppings/dressings, and pickled veggies and olives, prepared salads like fluffy decadent Brazilian potato salad, fattoush, cucumber salad, fresh mozzarella balls, nuts, marinated shrimp, ciabatta bread and goat cheese, garlic green beans, tomatoes, couscous, rice, grilled carmelized pineapple slices!! It was outstanding!! Also included with your dinner were creamy perfect garlic mashed potatoes, a basket of little gooey savory cheese popovers (my favorite new thing), and broiled bananas with cinnamon brown sugar sauce! Yum.. Now to the meats: As the meat serving gauchos wandered the dining room with their skewers, we were immediately offered medium rare filet mignon, which was lightly seasoned and perfect. Next was a slice of medium rare picanha, a Brazilian cut which was one of the most delectable things I have ever put in my mouth. Other savory meats followed: garlic parmesan pork, garlic chicken, bacon wrapped sirloin and chicken, medium sirloin, and then they all came around again before we left. The picanha was by far the best. All were good, only one of the pork cuts was a bit dry, but still had fabulous flavor. We got so full, we may have rolled out of there.... The only thing we paid extra for were some really good cocktails. One a tropical punch, and my partner got a caipirana, like a perfect lemon shakeup made with liquor: that drink that was AMAZING! It's the national drink of Brazil! I wished I had gotten one of those. Our service was fabulous and attentive, and the place was so clean and beautifully appointed with glittery lighting and fresh flowers everywhere. We had a magnificent night here. I can't recommend it enough.
