Restaurant bewertenMy party had reserved the VIP experience and were looking forward to the additional perks that came with it. However, we were disappointed to learn that this option was not very popular and was being phased out, according to our server. This did not give us a VIP feeling. The first course was not available, so we received a potato stuffed with green goddess instead. The "double dippers" were not impressive and did not complement the cheese well. The staff did not inquire about the occasion we were celebrating, and overall, the experience did not feel special. We would not choose this option again, especially considering the high price of nearly $80 per person.
We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive.
Our service was inattentive. And they used to make the cheese at your table which ensured fresh ingredients and was fun to watch. This time they just brought out a pot of finished cheese. As far as value, they sold a 15 dollar bottle of wine for $42. Markup is a part of going to a restaurant and should be expected but that’s nearly a 200% markup. We had a good anniversary dinner but it wasn’t great. When considering where to go for a fancy dinner with an expensive price tag The Melting Pot has always been in the conversation. But I don’t think it will be next time. This time it felt like paying a “great experience” price for a just okay experience.
This restaurant is definitely not worth the price. While the concept may be promising, the overall experience fell short of expectations.
We had an epic-level experience for my son’s 11th birthday. I loved the option to have balloons on the table at our arrival. I appreciated the option to order a la carte so we could successfully get through 3 courses without too many leftovers. Delicious all around!
