Restaurant bewertenFood is good. Our waitress (Jacquie) is the slowest I've ever had. Whether it was ordering coffee, water, or food, she would disappear for 10-20 minutes and then finally return. If you have 2-3 hours to spare, this is the place for you!!!
On a connecting flight between Europe and US and needed quick / but good bite. Steak bites looked good but half were unbitable. Quality of meat was really horrible. If you like to over pay and not be able to eat half of your tiny meal - go ahead. Otherwise AVOID.
There really are not a lot of choices in the International Terminal. We stopped by Canucks expecting to find some decent beer. We were disappointed. There was no Canadian beer on tap and only 2 types of bottled beer. The food menu is pretty limited. We shared the tuna poke which was ok. The service wasn't bad.
I wanted to take something to go for my flight and I thought the chicken caesar salad would be a good choice. Bad idea. For $16 plus tax, I got limp greens, a few soggy croutons, one hard-boiled egg, tough chicken, and a few sprinkles of parmesan cheese at the bottom of the bowl. The girl running the counter at the front of the restaurant told me her till was down and I should go to the bar to order instead. I did, but the guy there looked at me like I was asking for the world when all I wanted was a salad to go. Terrible service.I will not be returning.
The Canucks Bar & Grill is one of the limited options once you have passed immigration and Security on the US side of Vancouver airport. I was waiting for my flight back home to San Diego and I knew I would be in the air when it was going to be time for dinner so I thought I'd give this place a try. I sat at the bar hoping that the service would be quicker and better but I was wrong. The bar tender was slow to respond and wasn't very friendly. I ordered a beer and some fish & chips and waited and waited. I'm not sure what time this place closes but the bartender and some other staff were too busy putting all the bottles away in the bar. It almost felt like they were shutting up for the night, but they kept accepting more customers and continued servicing them. Anyway, my Fish and Chips finally arrived and I picked at the fish for a little while because it wasn't very tasty. It was getting close to boarding time for my flight home so I paid my check and got out of there. Next time I think I'll eat before I get to the airport.
