The Fisherman's Boot - Richmond

Been living in Steveston for 12-years and just discovered the Boot What a wonderful treat.

Y'know, it's been awhile since I've been here, but the reason why I'm writing this review so late, was that I'm actually rewriting it.

I came here for a cheap breakfastCustomer service was not as friendly as I'd prefer and the decor is old.

My friend and I agreed to meet for lunch at the Fisherman's Boot. This cafe is really a dive, that being said one certainly can't complain about the prices. I opted for the homeade soup and sandwich for under $6.00.............how cheap is that?

This is an exceptional greasy spoon/diner run by a lovely lady named Penny. Penny will berate you, like your a family member, if you don't finish your meal, so be careful how much you order. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. Located at the bottom of Trite Street in the marina, regular customers include local fishermen, and people from the community.
