Restaurant bewertenBeing our first time stumbling into this restaurant, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. We had the Special Beef Noodle, trying both thick and thin noodles. The beef soup was flavorful with a mild spice, but left me slightly parched. The thick noodles had a good bite to it, though, and the beef shank was sufficiently tender. I tried a bit of the thin noodles as well, which were a bit more tender and had a hint of sesame oil in it. We also got the iconic Popcorn Chicken, which was not too oily but was plenty juicy. Overall portion size was generous, but we did end up spending about $15/person with tips and sharing a drink. Service was attentive as it was near closing time for them,
Excellent Taiwanese Beef Noodles. the broth showed depth of flavour and the noodles were springy. I would recommend ordering this dish here. It tastes very similar to the beef noodles I had in Taipei.
Check out the video review on YouTube by Vancity Food Crew for Newton Beef Noodle House. I decided to visit this place despite mixed reviews from my foodie friends. The beef noodle soup was satisfying, with tender chunks of beef and a generous portion size. The popcorn chicken was also a good value for the price. Overall, the food was decent and I would return to try other menu items and their bubble tea.
I have had positive experiences during my recent visits to the restaurant. The service was attentive and very friendly, especially from the taller gentleman. The beef noodle and deep fried chicken dishes were delicious. However, the meat sauce noodle dish could use more flavor as it was a bit bland. I would return to this restaurant because of the friendly and quick service, as well as the lack of waiting time for seats.
While driving down the street in Vancouver, I unexpectedly came across a beef noodle house. Craving Taiwanese beef noodle soup, I decided to try it out. The presentation did not disappoint, with my dish consisting of 4 pieces of beef, the perfect amount of tendon, pickled cabbage, thick noodles, and 2 pieces of bok choy. Although I didn't think much of it at first, the consistent quality of the dish likely keeps customers coming back. The soup had a decent flavor, though it was a bit strong, but I appreciated the freshly made, hand-pulled noodles. A bowl of beef noodle soup at this restaurant costs around $10.
