Restaurant bewertenBeen eating at Drags for over 15 years and tried their pizza for the first time this trip. I was disappointed in the pizza. Crust was overdone to where it changed the flavor to almost burnt. I like all the other menu items much better. Bear Tracks inBirchwood has a better thin crust pizza, never burnt loads of toppings for much less. Will be back but not for pizza.Definently not a 1959 pizza last Saturday night. Server did a great job and the wait was reasonable. Nice clean establishment.
Drag 's was actually recommended to us while we were dining at The Bar, and we are grateful. The food here is delicious, and the staff friendly and helpful. You must order their pizza I highly recommend the Triple Bypass , sausage, bacon, and greenpeppers. Our experience was so good that we went back again the next evening.
The food was served very cold and wasn't worth the $20 price tag! I was also unhappy to learn that the friendly waitress had to cover the cost if I didn’t. That seems unfair to me.
This was my first time eating there in a few years since I live on the West Coast. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still my favorite pizza in the U.S., but it felt a bit different this time. There seemed to be way too much sauce on it. Interestingly, there is a menu option that charges extra for additional sauce. Also, the hamburger topping was bland, as if some of the seasoning I remember was missing. Overall, it seemed to have more cheese than before, and I was able to eat it without getting a blister behind my front teeth, which was a first for me.
The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere that feels cozy and reminiscent of older establishments. The service was fantastic, and the food was quite enjoyable—my kids even declared the cheesecake their all-time favorite! If I lived in Rice Lake, I would definitely visit regularly.
