Costa Coffee - Rhondda Cynon Taf

I would like to give a high commendation to a young man who was working last Saturday, December 30th. My mother and her friend, both in their 80s, went to your establishment around 1 pm. My mother is in a wheelchair and when they approached the automatic door, it was not working. A young man who was on his break outside immediately jumped up and offered to open the door for them. After they had their coffee, my mother's friend left her in the shop while she went to retrieve her car, which was parked a considerable distance away. When my mother saw her car approaching, she tried to wheel herself to it, but the same young man, now inside and working, came over and offered to help. He pushed her out to the car, assisted her in getting in, collapsed the wheelchair, and placed it in the car. My mother and her friend were extremely impressed with his exceptional customer service. They do not know his name, but I hope you can identify him. This young man is a true asset to your establishment, and it reflects positively on his upbringing by his parents. They should be incredibly proud of him. This was my mother's first visit to a Costa and she was treated in such a kind and lovely manner. Please locate this employee and possibly reward him for his amazing service.

I enjoy meeting friends at this restaurant, but I have repeatedly expressed concerns about the cleanliness. It needs a thorough cleaning, as one of the toilets is often out of order. It's disappointing because it's a popular spot.

Called in for coffee after shopping. There was a sign on door apologising to customer that only take away cups were available as the dish washer was broke. No problem for us how ever I was amazed after speaking to staff how many people had actually complained. If by any chance Costa coffee head office take those complaints serious therefore marking the performance of the down I urge you to think again. The place was clean the staff were happy and helpful. The drinks and cakes were delicious. What else matters.

I visit this coffee shop about 5 times a week and what makes it stand out are the great staff led by a great manager. Nothing is ever too much.
