Restaurant bewertenThe service at Scali is top-tier! We sat fast, although I recommend seeing a reservation as the place seemed quite fast to fill. Our waitress was very nice and welcoming. Since it was our first time there, she gave us appetizer recommendations and entree recommendations. The Prosciutto appetizer was amazing!! I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for my duck the sauce was perfect and the noodles were Al Dente. The meatballs were perfectly cooked and super delicate. I will definitely go back to Scali! I also want to add that I noticed that one of the waiters was helping an older gentleman out of his car, and I thought that was a very nice thing to do. I also watched a waitress running out to one of the customers who had forgotten his phone in the restaurant. These are things you don't see nowadays and I really appreciate how friendly and attentive the staff is.
This place has amazingly good tasting Italian food! The service is wonderful, friendly and friendly. This is not a chain restaurant that makes it so good that it is a family restaurant and they are there every day. The hours are short and the food is so fresh that they run out all day because they order new food daily...
OMG the food service and atmosphere of this restaurant is amazing have been a regular for over 10 years and to date have had nothing but amazing food, a family owned place who cares about quality and pleasing their customers! Nothing but warm welcomes delicious food and great service everytime!
I am a part Italian girl who went to high school in New Jersey where we have plenty of real good italian food. One thing I miss in Ohio is real Italian. My friends and I went to Scali's tonight. I was doubtful. We were greeted by a wonderful waitperson who did a fantastic job caring for us. It was Wednesday Wine discount night...we had a delicious bottle of Chianti followed by a side salad with Kraft dressing. I missed oil and vinegar dressing. My disappointment disappeared with tastes of ziti with Marinara and Veal Marsala. Heavenly. Just delicious. The veal was properly cut and cooked to perfection. The marinara was just perfect. My dining companion enjoyed homemade ravioli with Sunday sauce. It took everything I had to not eat off her plate. I am trying to figure how ti return for dinner this weekend.
Scali's has been a family favorite for 25 years and where we have celebrated many special occasions along with just a great option for a night out either dine in or carry out. Frank and Judy treat their customers like family and are always happy to see you. We lost my mother a year ago to COVID and have not been back just simply due to the memories. While they are wonderful memories, it has been a painful and traumatic loss for us. My daughter and I decided it was time to move beyond our grief and start enjoying the places we loved again and of course this is the first place we started. First, no matter your server, they are all fantastic. This is a group of people who love what they do and treat customers just as well as Frank and Judy! As expected, the food did not disappoint. We always start with the Prosciutto and Asiago appetizer which is beautifully done in a delicious sauce with roasted red peppers, thinly sliced garlic, and Kalamata olives. It is also the best dish for their delicious bread, dipping is a must! My daughter had the Chicken Marsala and pasta with cream sauce. The Marsala sauce is the best I have ever had and it comes topped with beautiful sautéed mushrooms aplenty! I had the gnocchi with cream sauce. While this may sound basic, that is what makes it so good. The cream sauce is thick and perfectly coats the little pillows of heaven. A must have meatball to share rounds out the meal. Thank you Frank and Judy for all of the wonderful memories, food, and atmosphere over the years.
