La Cantine Des Garçons - Rennes

La Cantine des Garçons is a very friendly place. I've been there every week since the opening. The dishes oscillate between good and excellent according to day inspiration and fresh products. The two managers are extremely sympathetic in addition to being very attentive to the returns that can be done. I recommend 100% this small restaurant to take away or on site. For the first time in my life, I put a google comment, that is to say;

The concept looked nice but damaging the dishes were really not up to it. Seafood pasta too fat and with little taste (1 single shrimp and 1 single mussel in a yet generous part). From fried chicken with vegetables without any taste, for sure frozen vegetables, the colors were beautiful but the taste is absent!

Excellent cuisine! The chef is very welcoming and prepares small dishes to take away every noon with lots of flavors. A real treat! I strongly recommend if you go to 22 Rue Saint Georges in Rennes;

A small snack only to take to Saint George Street, the reception is smiling and nice. The menu is short, the dishes are fresh and homemade (now 3 salted pies, 2 dishes and 3 desserts). The dishes are good, cheap and the quantity is there. It's just a shame to utlise in January vegetables like zucchini and tomato. To be recommended.
