Carnaval Mexican Grill - Redmond

You can't get better Mexican food outside of Oaxaca than here, no joke. Nothing bad on the menu. Make sure you make a reservation though!

Our waitress was very nice but we had a major issue when settling the bill. We had 3 separate parties but, like so many restaurants in the area, they brought one ticket. We gave the waitress cash and cards. In her efforts to figure it out, she overcharged us $63!!! We didn't feel like it was done on purpose and the management was very cooperative with our refund. But we did have to return to the restaurant to settle up. Is it just me or am I the only one who would like to see the return of separate tickets!!!???The food was decent and generous. They do charge for chips and salsa, which I don't think is right. I would definitely try it again but I would be very cautious with regards to the bill!

We were told we would have a table in 45 minutes, we waited over two hours for a table and they never called us. I checked in multiple times and they continued to beat around the bush with us. Personally very disappointed because I heard a lot of good things about this place. Never will go again.

Our 1st time eating at Carnaval. It was a delicious meal, and the service was wonderful! Every employee was helpful, fun and welcoming, including Yadira, who was great! Thank you!

I took my parents here for their 61st anniversary and had a fantastic experience. The food, drinks and service were exceptional. ‘Best Mexican cuisine I’ve ever had’ per my mom. I agree! Highly recommend 5 stars.
