Uncle Bob's Bakery - Redland City

I went to this restaurant with my toddler for an afternoon coffee and snack. The coffee was hot and strong, although a bit bitter - possibly due to a need for machine cleaning. Mandy, the server, was delightful. The cakes, pies, and other treats were consistently delicious. However, a note for mothers: they do not have high chairs available.

The service was outstanding and the meat pies and sausage rolls were delicious. The dessert options were very enticing, but I was craving a traditional Australian meat pie.

A bit of a local institution for breads, pastries, pies, tarts, and freshly made sandwiches. There are tables inside and out. The only disappointment is the coffee as we like ours with a 'kick'! Eat in or do what we did and get takeaways and head to GJ WALTER park only 5 mins drive to relax (picnic tables are available) and take in Stradbroke island and water views.

I have seen Uncle Bob's in Belmont for as long as I can remember, driving past on my way to shop at Carindale, which has been at least a decade.
