The Little Chip - Redcar and Cleveland

This restaurant is overpriced with undercooked chips and tasteless, sloppy fish cake. The curry sauce was watery and unappetizing. The tea was like dishwater and served at a high price of £1.80 a cup. The service was lacking with no smiles from the staff, and the food was served in open wrappers with wooden forks. Overall, all four of us agreed that we could not recommend this fish and chip shop.

I would not recommend going back to this restaurant. I was charged nearly £12 for two servings of flavorless, soggy chips and tasteless curry. The service was also lacking and could use some improvement – a smile can make a big difference.

This fish and chips meal was the smallest portion I have ever been served. I paid £19.90 for a regular fish and chips, one portion of chips, 2 bottles of coke, and 2 curry sauces. I believe I was definitely overcharged for the amount of food I received. I have included a picture of the fish and chips for reference.

Food was okay, staff were really rude looked at me in a rude manner that made me feel uncomfortable, they need to work on customer service. Will not be coming back
