Restaurant bewertenI really enjoy this unassuming little restaurant. The home cooked food is great and the service is friendly. It's my go-to spot when I don't feel like cooking. I've been slowly trying everything on the menu. This time I had the oxtail with rice and veggies - the meat was tender and delicious, as always. I always end up clearing my plate.
I was recommended this restaurant, but unfortunately it fell short. The rice was mediocre, the chicken was dry, overcooked, and unexpectedly bland. The prices were too high for the quality of the food.
The worst food I have come across. tasted like they used dirty toilet water to season their curried chicken . wouldn 't feed this muck to my dog, I don 't know what sort of person thinks it a good idea to get a piece of chicken and cut it up with a meat clever and serve it with broken up pieces of bones. what were they thinking!!! spent the whole meal cleaning out tiny pieces of bones. ohh and £8 for a small (rip off) £9 for a large, how on earth did they come up with pricing like that.. unless u want to choke and be robbed whilst doing so I would avoid this place at all cost.
It is a small restaurant located in the heart of Reading family run. Small two-seat tables and at the bottom of the counter. The place quite clean and with the showcase strips, but in fact the menu is rich and varied, from meat to fish to vegetarian. MOLTO MOLTO Gentile took our order and served us shortly at the table. The climate is a lot from home. Good food and homemade, coffee would be normal. Cheap for a dish
Popped in for lunch and had a large Jerk Chicken with Rice and Peas. The portion was large enough to satisfy most people and was very tasty not too hot and the chicken was moist. That and a bottle of water were £10.
