Restaurant bewertenHave stopped here several times in the past and never a disappointment. Great Service and Good Food!
Very nice atmosphere. Staff friendly. Food is awesome. Great for solo or families, Could hold business lunch. Desserts are home made and are to die for.
The food at Rolly's Restaurant in Ramore is very good. The prices can fit all budgets. I love the breakfasts and my dinner specials are the Liver and the Steak. The Manager, Lise is very knowledgeable , and always very nice to all customers. They always have a lunch special as well, with fresh homemade soup.
We have had several large family gatherings at Rolly's for breakfast, and they never disappoint. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate special requests, and are always very pleasant. The breakfast burrito is fabulous!! Service was fast, good was great, and the prices are extremely reasonable. And their pizza it's to die for!!I highly recommend Rolly's to locals and travellers alike. Lots of our family has stayed in the motel as well, and they found it to be clean and comfortable, and again, reasonably priced.Great place!!
Rolly's delivers dependably good family fare at reasonable prices… breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most recently, the menu has been expanded to include pizzas and a small selection of pasta dishes. The dinner entrees all include choice of soup of the day or side salad, vegetables of the day, choice of potatoes or rice, and garlic bread. Nothing spectacular, but consistently good, solid tasty family meals… consistently delivered with friendly, attentive service. Viewed from the roadside the establishment appears quite modest, typical of any number of Highway 11 restaurants supporting attached 10 – 12 motel units. In this case appearances are deceiving; the interior ambiance is modestly upscale, good solid furniture and banquets, a full wall mirror helping to give a sense of spaciousness, and the ceiling decorated with intricate woodwork that also practically helps to mute sound. In the last couple of years I have enjoyed three entrees… liver and onions with fries; salmon with rice; and most recently the veal schnitzel. In all three cases, the vegetable of the day turned out to be broccoli and carrots… enjoyably cooked “al dente”, not mushy. The fries with the liver & onions were very good. Rice with the other two entrees very good. Good garlic toast. Choice of side salads include house salad, Greek salad, Caesar salad. I have tried one of each, all freshly made and very good… but my favorite was the Caesar side salad which at my most recent visit came with just a few, but enough croutons AND also a goodly number of crunchy bacon bits. With that said, the entrees have been, as stated above, good but not spectacular. The liver was too thinly sliced and therefore overcooked. Possibly I should have specified “rare” in order to achieve medium instead of too well done. The salmon was also to my taste overcooked and almost dry... thereby losing most of the salmon taste. On my most recent visit, the veal schnitzel was well prepared but the veal content was merely OK; chewy and stringy. Coffee is always good. I do not usually order dessert, but on my most recent visit one of the owner / managers cajoled me into trying one of their homemade pies. Really good coconut cream pie. Also on my most recent visit, the family on one side of me ordered pizza… which looked very good as it passed by: and when I asked, the family confirmed to me that it tasted as good as it looked. Free WiFi… linksys without password. Definitely family friendly.Washrooms upscale decorated and immaculately clean. Balancing all of the above, recommended as a better than average family fare meal stop on Highway 11 in North Eastern Ontario.
