Smithfield's Chicken N B-q - Raleigh

If you've seen the video on social media, that's where I filmed it! And believe it or not, it was in the men's restroom. It went viral! But I love Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q! The staff is friendly and the food is great. Everything is fresh and the tea is perfect. The restaurant is clean and the service is always ready. I paid $26 for a shrimp and chicken plate with slaw and stew. All I got was two forkfuls of shrimp and 4 hushpuppies! No chicken, no sides! I'd have left ZERO stars if it were possible! Never again! And I can't even post a picture of this horrendous meal! Shame on you and your staff!!!!

I had a terrible experience at this Smithfield location. I recommend going to the one on Jones Sausage Road or Hwy 42 instead. Every time I come to this location, my order is either wrong or disgusting. Tonight, I reluctantly went back to this location because it was the closest one to me. The chicken I received had a strong smoky taste, as if it was cooked in old, burnt grease. The potato salad was mushy with only one excessively large potato in it, and the baked beans tasted like they were straight from the can with no barbecue flavor. The banana pudding was the most disgusting I've ever had. Overall, the meal was completely inedible. This will be the last time I eat at this place.

Staff is working hard and polite. Dinning room is clean and food was good. They are understaffed, but working hard like any other restaurant!

They were excellent before, but the chicken tasted like it was just taken out of the fryer. Disappointing.
