Restaurant bewertenThe restaurant was clean and modern. My wife ordered the Calamari, which turned out to be chewy with a very thick batter, just as I expected. I give it a 2 out of 5. I had the 2-piece Pollack and fries since we couldn't afford the halibut or haddock, which were too expensive. The meal, along with one soda, cost us $40, which we found to be too pricey. The fish was bland and tasteless, as anticipated, receiving a rating of 2 out of 5. The fries were fresh but nothing special, also receiving a 2 out of 5. The service was quick and friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. The parking area was adequate. Overall, we do not see a reason to return to this restaurant.
I have visited several Capt George's locations, and this one is definitely the best. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are large. The restaurant is clean, the restrooms are clean, and the wait staff are pleasant and efficient. It's no wonder this is a popular spot - the seafood is always fresh and well-prepared. Despite rising prices, this restaurant offers excellent value. One of the top seafood restaurants in the area, I will definitely be returning.
The halibut pieces were generously sized with thick fillets. They were not greasy at all. The fries were just average, I would rate them 2 out of 5. The prices were reasonable.
Decent little dive if you like fries sea food. Service was acceptable. Side salad was huge. Rest rooms were clean. I had fried haddock with fries. Fries were a bit over cooked and I have had bigger portions of haddock with a fish fry, but the fish was good. No coleslaw? Maybe that's only a thing in the USA and I was visiting Canada. I'd eat there again.
Came on easter friday. I get it that its busy. Ordered at 11 am for a 6pm slot. Got there at 6 and watched him call back a customer who just left and say you pay first. And saw him tell the waitress bes not making the food if be doesnt pay first. On easter friday? Lots of people waiting for that food if he didnt want it.Then i get told My order is double what i was told on phone. I had to switch to pollock. Ive never heard of pollock. But its on the new menu. I'm pretty sure the owner wanted everyone to pay up front and was screwing up the waitresses and staff by doing that.
