That's what I wanted to eat right out of the local kitchen. It feels like Grandma-in-the-kitchen. I would definitely recommend it. Do not be afraid to taste the fish!!!! Ceviche rocked! I would suggest asking what the prices are before you pay IF US dollars. I expected a meal over $6 cheaper, but I still paid them and typed them. Definitely worth it.

I love this place. MXN 160 (currently USD 8) brings you a beautiful plated fish or shrimp with rice and salad. I recommend Camarones al mojo de ajo, pescado ajo, or chicken with Achiote- all classic dishes I grew up eating here on Isla in the 80s/90s. Beautiful little mother and pop shop with super friendly staff. Make this your first stop on the way to the hotel/beach and you come happy and ready to the party.

We visited this restaurant after a local recommended it to us while on holiday two years ago and loved the Tacos. Returned today, since we are back on holiday in Cancun and made an excursion to the island only for the Tacos and they were just as good as two years ago.
