Restaurant bewertenLarge food typica, and at a good price for central La Fortuna.
Nice place frequented by locals and overlooking the town gardens. Food is mainly Costa Rican with some Italian and fast food options. All large portions and freshly cooked. Good wine and a banging Mojito. Prices are very reasonable.
Good casados coffee. Yum! Loved my beef in tomato sauce…slow-cooked, soft, tasty. The boyfriend liked his pork chop and frappuccino.
My husband and I had dinner and we really enjoyed our food. I’d say stick with the “comida típica” instead of the Americanized entrees. Food was good, we loved the fruit juices. customer service was ok, could have been better. They charged 500 colones for more tortilla chips for the ceviche which didn’t make sense but oh well. Prices are a bit higher compared to other local restaurants. Overall, I’m rating for the food we did have.
Chicken and rice was tasty, although they can cook the rice longer. I noticed that rice in a lot of places in CR is not fully cooked and therefore does not taste as good as it should. Cappuccino with coco foam was pretty good, not amazing. Coco flan (not pictured) was very thick and not my style.
