Restaurant bewertenI decided to try the lychee purple rice yogurt and the mango yogurt drinks. The purple rice adds an interesting texture to the drink, as it's unexpected to have something like that in a beverage but it's quite delightful (and makes the drink healthier!). It seems they use fresh lychee to prepare this drink, as the pieces in my cup had a wonderfully fresh texture. The mango yogurt drink was perfectly sweet. Just make sure to mix it well before drinking, as the mango puree settles at the bottom of the cup. These drinks keep well in the refrigerator, so you can enjoy them the next day! Finishing a whole cup was quite filling. I definitely plan to return to try more of their offerings!
I’m not usually a fan of boba, but I was searching for a refreshing drink with Asian flavors, so I thought this place was worth a shot. The purple rice paired nicely with the yogurt. We opted for the lychee flavor and were pleasantly surprised to find that it actually contained real lychee instead of syrup. While I’m not sure if I would crave this drink again, I definitely recommend trying it if you're in the area!
As for the Miles Away drink, it was decent, but I would have enjoyed it more if they included the passion fruit seed pulp without blending it. I miss the texture of the seeds; it’s like I’m missing the essence of the fruit. I preferred the mango with pomelo option, but I still like the version from Haidilao better, although the quality has been hit or miss lately. I would definitely come back for more of their drinks, but they really need to provide a comprehensive breakdown of all their offerings.
Wanted to try this place since its opening. a literal hole in the wall without sitting. you buy and then go. I have the lychee purple reisyoghurt. was interesting how to eat sweeter rice. the lychee taste was very prominent that I enjoyed. would definitely return to try the other aromen.
My new go-to!!! I rarely crave bubble tea, but I have been craving this everyday. New yogurt drink place located on Roosevelt Ave in the middle of the block between Prince St and Main St. It is a small pop-up store that does not hold a lot of people. I found out about this place through Instagram when they were launching their Lychee series and sent me a $5 discount code. I ordered the Lychee Purple Rice Yogurt Drink and immediately fell in love. They also have a reward system linked to your phone number and Cash App where you earn a star with every $10 purchase and with 8 stars you get $10 off. In addition, they have an in-store stamp card where you buy 8 drinks and you get a free drink. I have been getting the same drink every time I go because I'm afraid the lychee series will be gone. But I definitely enjoy the purple rice texture. The oats texture is much more subtle and easier to digest as well. I recommend both! They have a variety of flavors that can go with them or if you prefer just stick with the regular. They have a cute side wall for a quick photo-op as well. Lovely place and definitely recommend!
