Paris Baguette - Queens

I heard about this restaurant from my son, who told me it had the best cakes in Queens, and he was absolutely right! I ended up placing two birthday cake orders from there.

I had a disappointing experience at this bakery. The tall guy working there refused to give me a fresh red bean bun, insisting that he couldn’t sell the new ones until the old ones were sold out. I don’t see why I should spend my money on bread that has been sitting around for days. I really don’t understand why they wouldn’t want to give customers what they’re asking for. It’s frustrating enough that I won't be returning. I definitely do not recommend this location.

Now, onto my review of the Baguette. I walked by the area twice before noticing the Matcha Croissants. I asked a staff member if they were good, and he assured me that if I liked Matcha, I would enjoy them. I ended up buying the last two and shared them with my family. The flavor of the Matcha was pronounced, and I could really taste it. The inside of the croissant was filled with a creamy Matcha filling. I’ll definitely return for more!

Most convenient location. After shopping at Hmart, easy to pick up some snacks. Usually if I go too early, not many items are out yet. But on this particular day, the whole case was filled. Got my usual items sausage bun, mini cream cheese danishes, Japanese cheesecake. Saw the new cream filled croissants. They had chocolate, matcha, mango and I think mocha. Settled on the mango. It was just ok, too much cream and I didn't really taste a mango flavor. The cashier was super friendly and polite.

Since the 1st juli 2022 she is in new management. I think it'll be different.
