Restaurant bewertenFay Da Bakery is so sweet, there are a lot of tasty rabbits and cakes. The staff is friendly and fast.
Nice small bakery and pretty busy. The strawberry cake pastry , tiny sesame seeds cookies and smoothie with bubble tea were all awesome. Service was good and enough tables to sit and enjoy.
3.5 starts. This Fay Da Bakery is conveniently located right next to the 71st Avenue subway stop in Forest Hills. Perfect spot for commuters to quickly grab breakfast and/or lunch before heading into the subway. Fay Da is a popular Chinese bakery chain and there are many locations in New York. The staff at this location is very friendly, polite and efficient. During the morning rush, there can be lines for the checkout, but they move very quickly. The bakery is clean and there are plenty of seating in the front. There is a ramp at the entrance, making it stroller accessible but not wheelchair accessible as the door is not wide enough. The baked goods/pastries are towards the back in display cases and by the counter. The breads and pastries at this location are usually very fresh due to the high traffic that they get. They put new items out several times during the day. I really like their sponge cake and almond twist pastry. They also offer some savory items like curry beef puff, pork buns, lotus leaf wraps and sandwiches. This place is cash only. Overall, a great place to grab a quick snack or meal.
Always fresh great variety of different buns for every palette. Awesome to go sandwich options too, but my fave is their coffee. It’s strong yet creamy and not too sweet. I just ask for a medium coffee with cream and they do the rest so if you don’t do sugar you must say no sugar.
Chinese bakery that sways closer to a modern style of baked goods. You can eat European-like cakes her. But little push to shopping , because always busy .
