Restaurant bewertenWe were directed to eat here because our hotel couldn't provide food that evening. It is the restaurant to the Hotel du Nord.It was a lovely choice. We had the menu Terroire which was superb. The cheeseboard was amazing. There was only one lady serving and we had to use our limited French to order but there were no major problems and the meal was superb. The other diners were locals which was a good recommendation to us.
Eat here as the l'Atre was closed for holidays. Meal well cooked especially the pigs cheek main. Highlight of the meal were the the cold deserts. Wines were expensive starting at €24. Lacks the ambiance of l'Atre.
St Georges overlooks the square in the authentic village of Quarre Les Tombes. On our arrival we were greeted by smiling staff who set the tone for our meal. We both opted for the five course formulae and were pleased with our choices, we also had half a bottle of both the red and white Auxey Duress which were superb, not cheap but then we wouldn't expect them to be! The actual restaurant is quite dated decor wise but don't let that put you off, it is part of its charm.Luckily we live not too far away so will be able to go back soon. Well worth a visit.
We had a group function here this week and found it to be a very nice change from the regular hotels we tend to use! The facility is quite picturesque in
