Beware of some staff.... especially those in the night...(Nanda how are you ...fool) It's a good place ...with great location... basically on the beach ...they have a guarded private sand dune which is not very clean ....front beach is also very dirty compared to even swargadar beach. Always go for AC rooms ... because non AC rooms are practically non-livable in summer months.... only AC rooms has sea view from room. Talk directly to the owner if you want exact price.... because the manager is way too over smart for his little age. I am not saying he is not friendly... actually he is but...he wants to get rich quickly. You can drink alcohol outside ....no issues but don't disturb others and you can even drink on their front restaurant shakes but it also depends on who you are ....they treat people selectively there. One positive thing their food is indeed very good....and price is reasonable.....i would suggest you to pay online with GST ...if you can. Only then you can get the actual bill with GST number.... otherwise if you pay with cash you will save money but ....I have doubts how much of it ends up in owner's pocket. Another good thing rooms and bathrooms were very clean and tidy , towels, bedsheets, curtains were also clean .... their aqua guard water was also clean and drinkable...no issues. ..tap water is also fine. Rooms: Rooms are clean , not airy but clean and bathrooms are also clean but too hot in summer months.....non AC rooms has air pass through issues. Nearby activities: Not much ....you can take a taxi to ferry town and even to the lord Jagannath Temple, only camel rides available on the nearby beach. Safety: Safe .. No problem on the safety department except locks on the rooms were rusted ....i would recommend you to carry one with yourself. Walkability: Very walkable. Food drinks: Food is exceptionally Good ....even compared to price.... Noteworthy details: Beware of some staff like nandu .....crooks ..... Others basically daytime staff are friendly and nice.. My parents stayed here from 24th May- 28th May. The rooms have great views, especially room no 201. The staffs are very polite, yet efficient. The restaurant has a wide ranging menu at a reseaonable price. My parents are extremely satisfied with the service, provided by the hotel. We went there for dinner. The service is very bad. We ordered Paratha but while servicing after almost 40 minutes we were told that Paratha will be served late. When we insisted, we were told that atta is not there. We were upset and insisted that Paratha is to be served whatever be the reason. In that case our order should have been prioritised but Paratha was served after another 30 minutes while rotis were getting served in all the tables made of atta. Serice must improve to remain with a rating of 4.0 gathered over the years. Also the manager, Pradipji, was is too linient towards the incident. However while invoicing they ommitted the paratha. On noticing that we insisted and paid for all the Parathas that we have ordered. Service: 1 Location: 4
