Restaurant bewertenSweet little restaurant. sweet little restaurant on level one on the back of a complex! we almost couldn't find it. the food was very nice.
Average. naan is chewy and clearly bought from wool. butter chicken is not too bad. had no eftpos and ran out of huh, probably not be back
Frozen vegetables and smokey paprika. very disappointing and tasteful and overpriced. ordered sweet corma no fresh sweet, clear frozen sweet. tasteless curry sauce. beef vindaloo was just as bad. dry meat with a curry sauce, which tasted only chunked paprika. we'll never eat here again. we stay at a curry story in the chapel hill.
Second visit. this was our second visit to ashoka in so many nights. this time butter huh and expectations were met. naans were delicious and not too heavy. this is now our new Indian place 24 sep, 2014 delicious. take the order of bark corma with two types of naans. must say it was excellent. it was delicious and just the right amount of food. we will return.
Bland bland and stingy in rice. Have ordered from here many times before and have always thoroughly enjoyed the curries and delicacies. Our takeaway order tonight was bland and sub standard. The store bought curry bottle sauces are better than what we were offered. We ordered three mains to feed two adults, a teenage boy and two girls. Their definition of complimentary rice with mains is one medium rice. Will be looking for a new local indian.
