Restaurant bewertenWe left popeyes 20 minutes ago to find out that they don't put any sauce we asked in the bag. we also got kartoffels and they didn't even give us a spoon. we are on the road of new jersey and can not even eat our food in the car as there is no spoon. absolutely absurd about it, but we love the huh of popeyes.
Stopped in on Memorial Day Monday. Late afternoon. Our 1st time at this location. As they are located on a tiny triangle of property, the parking lot is rather squishy. We went inside, to place our to-go order. We were waited on promptly. However, we were told that, for some unknown reason, they were Not serving the spicy that day. We would have to settle for mild. If it wasn't for not wanting to fight holiday traffic, we definitely would have gone to one of the other locations. The lobby wasn't overly clean and stock was mostly empty. The real mess was out in the parking lot.Looked like the aftermath of a Cat. 5 hurricane. Trash was Everywhere. That being said, they got our order correct and the food was hot and delicious.
They constantly run out of Coleslaw so if it is a must have in your order ensure it is available before you pay.Food quality and speed of service is good ?
If I could give negative stars I would. 10 minutes to order food. That's ok I understand many came in at same time. I placed my order, waited 15-20 minutes. The manager asked who is the shrimp and fries 2 orders. I said no. Waited another 10 minutes, the one who took my order handed me a order. I was so upset at the service and time I went straight home. I arrived home and opened our order. They handed me the order that I said no to. My order had coleslaw. I tried about 10 times to call the location. They do not answer and a few times line was busy. Very bad service, cold food and no responsibility as a fast food restaurant. If I wasn't so angry I would have driven back to the location. Best walk away and never return.
OK so me and my friend were dying for Popeye's when we heard this opened up. My big mistake thinking it was going to be as delicious as it was in the 1980s. They call this cajun, and yet, there was not a SPECK of seasoning on the tenders NOR the regular fried chicken. Absolutely no cajun seasonings, not spiciness no pepper NOTHING! The batter was just that just batter not a speck on it. And please take heed the chicken tenders were tough, and a tad rubbery. I also kept having to remove pieces of bone cartilidge from my mouth as I was eating. AND IT IS SO EXPENSIVE! Needless to say, glad I satisfied my curiosity, and I will never, EVER go back. I do believe this is not going to be open for business long on Bald Hill Road, what with all the competition. All it takes is once and you won't go back. Kentucky Fried is expensive, too, but it's still as good as it always was, at least.
