The Barn Restaurant - Prairie Du Chien

This place is an absolute gem ? The filet was prepared well, flavor was delightful, the scallops, are small but tasty. Garlic green beans could've used more garlic otherwise delicious. Just get in here for a meal. I'll be back!!

The atmosphere when you walk into this place is really cool. A lot of interesting things hanging on the walls. The waitress was very friendly and was very good at her job. I tried the local catfish and it was delicious. The broasted chicken was really good too. The salad bar was the biggest I had been to in a while. The amount of selection that they offered was amazing. Everything was delicious! Definitely worth going here.

Anniversary dinner. Lost reservation..I was a wee bit peeved and took it out on the server. I apologized profusely. Ended up at the bar by the window. Hannah is exceptional. Love her. Ribs were out of this world. Walleye 6 out of 10. Needed seasoning. The salad bar was good but it looked as if the locust had just gone through. But good choices. Good wine list. Bit expensive for Wisconsin.We'd go back.
