Good hearty food in a comfortable surroundings. The food is enjoyable and tasty. A bit different from Indian and Chinese. It somewhere between.

A mixture of Thai and Nepalese dishes. Lovely setting and staff were so friendly. Had a toddler with us and nothing was too much trouble. Wide range of dishes and helpful advice given if asked for.

The owners were more than willing to help with any request day or night. Room was clean and breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend to a friend.

Always have nice food from here, hot, tasty and authentic. Would recommend for a nice take away. It's not too heavy or greasy!!! Nice service too.

During our visit to the area, my wife and I were curious to try a new meal and decided to give Yak Y Da a chance. There was a large party present, which seemed to affect the service for other customers. I had to go to the bar twice myself because the waiter/waitress seemed to forget about us. It took 45 minutes for just 2 poppadoms to be served, and even longer for our simple curry rice dishes. The meal was alright, but I found the spices to be a bit strong and possibly not cooked thoroughly despite the wait. Overall, it was a decent experience, but it didn't live up to our expectations.
