Bulas Wine House - Porto

Having walked from our hotel into Porto centre and then out along the riverside we were happy to see this restaurant. Great food and even better white wine from the Bulas winery who own/run this place we bought a bottle to take home. Cristina who served us was just brilliant every restaurant should have a Cristina!

Highly recommended! Codfish with Broa (Bacalhau com Broa) was amazing and the service at the house is great. They have good prices and each plate you ask, you get a glass of wine from their cava for free.

Tried to have lunch here. Waitperson indicated that we should sit but then proceeded to ignore us over obvious Portuguese diners. Two sets of tables who arrived after us were attended to while we simply waited although it was clear we had finished with the menu. Too bad for them I guess because we are now dining at a lovely place down the road

Had a fabulous experience with Christina so much so that we came back the day after for a tasting of their red and white table wine over lunch! Spectacular views of the river and the joy of the tram rumbling by an arm's reach away from you on the patio. Food was spectacular, and the Bulas Gin is excellent
