Bicho Papao - Porto

We fell upon this restaurant as we were wandering round Porto City Centre. It seemed full of locals so we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed, an interesting and varied menu of three courses for 7 euros. Highly recommended

I cannot wait to return to this comfortable and stylish, affordable restaurant. Their luncheon specials are fantastic and unique. The service was also excellent.

Found by very happy chance. 6.50 € for soup, main , sweet and coffee. Beautiful food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. I highly recommend this little gem!

Easily missed in a backstreet close to the Aliados, this restaurant only serves lunch at a fixed 7€, which includes soup, main, dessert, drink and coffee. There are 3 meat and fish options on offer. The dishes seemed to vary between Portuguese dishes and some options. Good, quality food served fast and staff are nice. Don't expect huge proportions but balanced and generous if you have the entire menu. There are 2 floors and the upstairs is very big so don't give up if downstairs seems full. I had the feeling that locals are the main customers here. The decoration is welcoming and bright though this is a converted old bulding. Not sure if the toilets upstairs are accessible to people with mobility problems.

I liked the food, especially the menu of the day, as it always brings new dishes to try. In any case, it would be recommended for anyone looking for cheap and tasty dishes.
