What a fun place! We didn't have reservations, but the rumors are true...you just get there a little before 5, and they will put your name on a list to get the next available table, or you can sit at the bar and eat right away. I had the green salad and grilled asparagus with duck egg hollandaise sauce. I'm vegetarian, so it was nice to have those options. The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. But the star of the show was the Mango Cake. Wow! That pastry chef is a genius with mad skills! She made an unbelievable combination of textures and flavors that I have never experienced. I know their menu changes, but if you see that mango cake in the dessert menu, snap it up. You won't be sorry. The cocktails were also very unusual and tasty. I had the Thyme is Nigh gin cocktail and it was wonderful. It was a delightful way to spend the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fabulous meal. Superb service. Sarah treated us like we were in her home. Fire Street came highly recommended and did not disappoint.
